The giveaway shown in the illustration is separate from plan coverage. No purchase or membership is necessary to enter or win. Each drawing requires separately published dates and official entry rules.

What this means for your current springs

Joining does not automatically cover springs or other parts we have not installed or replaced. Added coverage applies to qualifying individual parts with a verified Layton Garage Doors service history while membership remains active. Applicable discounted service call fees still apply unless waived by an included service or the separate first-year installation warranty. Complete doors and motors retain their applicable manufacturer warranties.

Annual maintenance is included; separately needed repairs remain chargeable unless an applicable warranty covers them. The first hour of labor per visit is included under the plan. See the full terms for coverage, billing, cancellation and renewal details.

16 Protection Plan Membership

Coverage and Pricing

Protection-plan fees pay for enrollment of the covered garage doors and associated openers at one property. Repair parts and repair labor are charged separately except where an included service or applicable warranty covers them. A membership does not provide unlimited free repairs.

For a private residence, the plan is $14.95 per month or $149.50 per year and covers all garage doors and openers at that property, regardless of quantity. Paying annually saves $29.90 compared with 12 monthly payments of $14.95, equivalent to two months free.

Property management properties, multifamily properties, and standalone commercial properties use the following annual pricing per covered door, including its associated opener. The total door count determines the rate for every covered door at that property. Discounts are calculated from the base annual price of $149.50 per door.

Doors coveredDiscountAnnual price per doorTotal annual cost
1-3None$149.50$149.50-$448.50
4-75%$142.03$568.12-$994.21
8-1010%$134.55$1,076.40-$1,345.50
11-1415%$127.08$1,397.88-$1,779.12
15-9920%$119.60$1,794.00-$11,840.40

The total for a property equals its covered door count multiplied by the applicable annual per-door rate. Pricing outside the published range requires an agreed quote. A representative will disclose any monthly installment schedule and total commitment for a quoted plan before enrollment.

Billing and the Initial Commitment

Signing up creates a minimum 12-month commitment. Online enrollments are billed annually. Monthly billing is available through a Layton Doors representative.

At enrollment, you authorize the agreed recurring charges through your selected payment method, together with any separate consent required by law. The enrolled property, covered door count, rate, and payment schedule must be identified in your enrollment or quote.

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, annual payments for the initial 12-month term are nonrefundable. If a customer paying monthly cancels before completing that initial term, the unpaid balance of the initial 12-month commitment becomes due.

After the initial 12 months, membership automatically continues until canceled. Annual plans renew annually at the agreed annual rate, and monthly plans continue monthly at the agreed monthly rate. Renewal does not create another nonrefundable minimum 12-month commitment. We will provide renewal notices and cancellation disclosures required by applicable law.

Cancellation After the First Year

After the initial 12-month commitment, members may cancel at any time. For an annual plan, the unused portion of the current prepaid renewal year is refundable on a prorated basis using the rate paid and the effective cancellation date. For example, a residential customer who renews at month 12 for $149.50 and cancels at month 18 receives a six-month refund of $74.75. For a monthly plan, cancellation after the initial term stops future monthly renewals without making another year's payments due.

Request cancellation using the contact details in Section 19 and identify your account and enrolled property. We will confirm the effective cancellation date and any remaining balance or refund. Cancellation ends additional membership warranty coverage as described in Section 17; it does not cancel the separate installation labor warranty or applicable manufacturer warranties. Statutory cancellation and refund rights remain available, including any required cooling-off rights and notices for a qualifying sale.

Included Maintenance and Priority Service

Routine annual maintenance for all covered doors and openers is included at no additional charge. Both the service call fee and maintenance labor are waived for that included annual maintenance service. Separately needed repairs remain subject to the repair charges or applicable warranty below.

Active members receive on-site service within 24 hours of a service request, including weekends and holidays. The 24-hour guarantee concerns the technician's arrival on site.

Dealer monitoring is included for compatible myQ-enabled LiftMaster motors when the customer authorizes the connection and completes the setup needed for the service. Applicable third-party account and service terms also apply.

Service Call Fees and Repair Labor

For repair visits, the applicable service call fee still applies unless waived for included annual maintenance or covered first-year installation warranty service. The fee is disclosed before service is authorized. Active members receive 20% off the regular service call fee and separately billed parts and labor, subject to the emergency fee rule below.

The first hour of labor per service visit is included. Additional billable labor is $50 per hour per technician before the member discount. The 20% member discount gives an effective rate of $40 per hour per technician. The discount is applied once to the applicable charges, not again to an already discounted hourly rate.

For an emergency visit, members receive 50% off the emergency service call fee instead of 20% off that fee. Separately billed parts and billable labor still receive 20% off. The two discounts apply to different charges and are not stacked on the same charge.

Labor and parts covered by the membership warranty in Section 17 are provided at no charge. The first-hour limit and additional hourly labor rate do not apply to that covered replacement labor. The applicable discounted service call fee still applies to a membership warranty visit unless the first-year installation warranty requires that fee to be waived.

17 Installation and Membership Warranties

One Year Installation Labor Warranty

Layton Doors provides a one-year warranty on its labor for the initial garage door installation, beginning on the installation completion date. For covered warranty service during this first year, the service call fee is waived and covered installation labor is provided at no charge.

This warranty applies whether or not the customer has a protection-plan membership. Canceling membership does not cancel or shorten this one-year installation labor warranty.

Manufacturer Warranties on Doors and Motors

Complete garage doors and opener or motor units remain subject to their applicable manufacturer warranties. Layton Doors does not extend the manufacturer warranty on the complete door or complete motor unit through membership. Applicable manufacturer warranties remain separate from membership benefits and the installation labor warranty.

Extended Coverage for Individual Replacement Parts

While membership remains active, individual parts previously installed or replaced by Layton Doors qualify for extended parts-and-labor coverage. Qualifying parts may include springs, sensors, and circuit boards. Parts Layton Doors replaced before the customer enrolled can qualify because we know their service history. Parts we did not install or replace, or whose history cannot be verified, do not qualify for this added coverage.

For a qualifying replacement, the part and replacement labor are provided at no charge while membership remains active, even after that individual part's manufacturer warranty expires. The applicable service call fee remains payable unless waived under the separate first-year installation warranty. This coverage on individual components does not extend the manufacturer warranty on a complete garage door or motor unit.

Cancellation and Reenrollment

The additional parts-and-labor coverage provided through membership ends when membership is canceled. Reenrollment does not automatically restore previous coverage. Upon reenrollment, Layton Doors may, at its discretion, review and approve coverage only for parts, garage doors, and motors originally installed by Layton Doors. Review may include verification of installation and service history. Approval does not extend manufacturer warranties on complete doors or motor units.

These cancellation conditions apply only to additional membership coverage. They do not cancel or shorten the one-year installation labor warranty, an applicable manufacturer warranty, or rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

18 Referral Giveaway Program

No purchase or membership is necessary to enter or win. Purchasing or renewing a membership does not improve the entry opportunities available to you. Members and eligible nonmembers may participate.

Sponsor and Eligibility

The sponsor is Layton Doors, using the contact details in Section 19. Entrants must be individuals age 18 or older with an authorized, compatible prize installation address within Tooele County or Salt Lake County, Utah. Eligibility must be satisfied when the prize is awarded.

Prize and Drawing Dates

The prize is one LiftMaster 2220L Basic Series garage door opener with installation included. The combined retail value is $775.68. Installation must be within the eligible service area and must meet the manufacturer's installation requirements. Applicable manufacturer warranties apply to the opener. Any applicable installation warranty remains separate.

Each giveaway will have an announced entry opening date, entry deadline, drawing date, and winner response deadline. Those details must be published before that promotion opens and form part of its rules. A giveaway has one scheduled drawing; Layton Doors may conduct additional giveaways later under this program.

Initial and Referral Entries

Each eligible person receives one initial entry by signing up for a membership or by submitting the free website entry form. Membership and free-form entries have the same entry value. Repeated submissions, additional purchases, and renewals do not create duplicate initial entries while that person's entry balance is active.

An eligible referrer earns one additional entry for each unique eligible person they refer who signs up for a membership or enters through the free website form. The referred person must identify the referrer with their signup, free entry, or referral card so the entry can be verified. No purchase is required from either person. A single referred person produces only one referral credit under this program.

There is no limit on the number of valid referrals or referral entries. These same referral opportunities are available to members and nonmembers. Marketing consent is optional and is not required to submit a free entry, receive referral credit, or win.

Carryover and Winner Entry Reset

Valid initial and referral entries carry over into future giveaways conducted under this referral program. Entries are not cleared merely because a drawing ends or a membership is canceled. Entrants must continue to meet the eligibility rules for the drawing in which they participate.

When a participant wins, all of that winner's accumulated entries are cleared. The winner remains eligible for future giveaways and may reenter through the free website form and earn new referral entries. Entries held by other eligible participants continue to carry forward.

Winner Selection and Notification

One winner is selected randomly from all valid eligible entries in the applicable drawing. The odds of winning depend on the total number of valid eligible entries in that drawing. Layton Doors will contact the selected entrant using the contact information provided with the entry and verify eligibility and referral records.

The selected entrant must respond by the deadline announced for that promotion. If the entrant is ineligible, cannot be contacted by that deadline, or declines the prize, an alternate winner may be selected from the remaining valid eligible entries. False information, duplicate initial entries, and fraudulent referral claims do not qualify.

No membership purchase, entry fee, or prize claim fee is required to receive the prize. The recipient is responsible for any taxes legally imposed on the prize and must provide tax documentation only if required by law. Giveaway entries are separate from protection-plan billing and warranty eligibility.
